4 Days Masai Mara-Naivasha Safari

Pick up from your hotel in the morning and after a short safari brief, depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve with a stopover at the great rift valley view point. You will arrive in masai mara in time for lunch. There after proceed to Narok Town which is Masai biggest town and is famous for the Masai people, On arrival to masai mara, check in at camp/lodge, have lunch, relax, then later leave for the late afternoon game drive, the best time to get a glance of the predators as they crawl out of their shadows. Masai Mara reserve is considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area. This is due to the acacia-dotted plain scenery of stunning beauty where Black manned lions, cheetahs and leopards are found in abundance. Elephants, giraffes, genet cats just to mention a few Mara also hosts over 450 species of bird including the national bird of Kenya, the lilac breasted roller bird & other nocturnal birds, return to the Lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

The whole day is spent exploring the park's amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary, including migrants; well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra; there is also resident wildlife year round. The Maras gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq. km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Crocodiles bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north. After exploring the park return to the camp with an option of visiting masai village. Dinner and overnight at camp/Lodge.

Pre breakfast morning game drive, then return to the camp/lodge for the main breakfast, after the breakfasts depart for Naivasha with lunch in Narok town. After lunch proceed on to L.Naivasha arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Camp/ Lodge

Wake up early morning for the full breakfast, proceed to crescent island using a boat ride, where you will take a walk. The shores host abundant birdlife especially huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park, hence herds of Wildebeeste, Waterbuck, Zebra and Gazelle. Hippo graze all over at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. The giraffe who were born on the Island return to give birth; sometimes you see three generations at a time. Hyena come to hunt at night but are not resident on the island, the many python who do live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of Buffalo come and go but they are always monitored. You will have lunch on your way. Then you leave the island for Nairobi arriving at the late afternoon, drop off to your hotel/airport to mark the end of our safari.
